Germantown Family,

We hope this update finds you and your family well in these unprecedented times. The Germantown Board of Directors, as well as our many participants & loyal families, have been patiently waiting for Governor Beshear to set a date for the return of youth sports. We are happy to announce we now have a target date for our season to begin. On May 7, 2020, Governor Beshear announced the second phase of reopening which included low-touch and outdoor youth sports, but urged patience and caution until we finish the fight against COVID-19. With that being said, Germantown Baseball will shadow the following tentative schedule:

June 15th through June 21st – Open registration for players

June 22nd through July 10th – Team assignment and practices will begin

July 13th through October 18th – Active game schedule

Please keep in mind, the scheduled tentative dates are based on the Governor’s June 15th reopening date AND are subject to change.

Again, we are more than thankful for our Germantown community and their patience through these trying times. Please know the safety of our young athletes is of our utmost concern and priority. We will continue to strive to provide as safe of a playing environment for your child as possible.

Please stay tuned as more details unfold about what precautions will be taken in the upcoming months. Until then, please remember, Germantown fields are closed until further notice. Thank you again, for your patience and understanding.
