To our Germantown Family, Friends, Neighbors, Community, Supporters, Sponsors and Players,

It is with heartfelt sadness that our Germantown Board of Directors announce that we have reluctantly decided to suspend the season. After weekly meetings to discuss the ever-changing regulations set by the city and state, coupled with the catastrophic drop in participation, we felt like the tight restrictions imposed would take away from the authentic & great typical Germantown experience.

Bottom line, this year has been filled with uncertainty and struggle. Our community is still in a state of indefinite dismay and tomorrow could hold tighter restrictions from decisions we are making today. Our biggest fear would be to start a season only to have to abruptly cancel or adapt to a whole new set of strict regulations. There are strong and passionate opinions on both sides of the spectrum when it comes to COVID-19. We are sympathetic to both but feel it would be impossible to accommodate both views which lead us to the decision that it is in the best interest of the park to sit this season out.

We understand that this will not be a fan favorite result because quite frankly it wasn’t an easy one for us to make. Please keep in mind, every board member has a child playing on these fields and has the same difficult chore of breaking the unwanted news.

All of that being said, we are going to use this opportunity to improve our fields and focus our efforts on the development of an epic 2021 season. We are overly optimistic that time off will allow the return of Germantown play to not only be safer, but more appeasing.

Refund Options:

1) Full Refund – All requests for a full refund should be emailed to Keith Ingram, President, at
2) Credit – Apply your registration to next season’s participation.
3) Donation – Apply your registration as a donation to Germantown’s efforts to revamp our program.

Please advise which option you choose before July 1, 2020. Otherwise, the funds will automatically roll over until next season ONLY. If consecutive season is not played, the funds at that point become a donation.

Again, this was not an easy decision made by the Germantown Board but the safety and welfare of our beloved participants is in our best interest always. Please note that the ballpark will remain closed and no access given during this break.

Thank you sincerely for your continued loyalty and understanding. Here’s to an amazing reopening in the near future!
